Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Here's what we use them for and how to manage them.
What we use
Strictly necessary
- Session cookies — keep you signed in.
- Security tokens — protect against CSRF and replay attacks.
- Load balancing — route requests to the right server.
These cannot be turned off — the platform doesn’t work without them.
Analytics (optional)
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-respecting page-view counts. No cross-site tracking.
- PostHog (logged-in only) — funnel and feature-usage analysis to improve the product.
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate site-usage measurement. Off by default: it sets no cookies and sends no data until you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner (Google Consent Mode). Decline and it stays off.
Analytics cookies are opt-in. When you first visit we ask for your choice in a banner; you can change it any time by clearing this site’s cookies, and logged-in users can also opt out in account settings.
Functional (optional)
- Theme preference (light / dark).
- Language preference.
- Dismissed banners (e.g. sticky CTA bar).
What we don’t use
- Cross-site advertising trackers.
- Third-party advertising cookies.
- Social-media tracking pixels.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you control cookies via settings — block all, accept first-party only, etc. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break the platform. Blocking analytics cookies has no effect on functionality.
